
Yummy shrimp and veggies on the barbie was a hit for this Father’s Day weekend. We liked this marinade so much that we’re trying it on steaks too!

Shrimpalicious!
Ingredients
- Ingredients:
- 8 cloves of minced garlic
- 3/4 cup olive oil
- 3/4 cup tomato sauce
- 6 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 6 tablespoons fresh basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper or hot sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon of your favorite chili seasoning
- 2 lb’s shrimp peeled and devined
- 2 lb’s vegetables (Mushrooms, sweet onions, peppers, etc…chopped in large chunks)

Instructions
- Mix together sauce, vinegar, garlic, olive oil.
- Add basil, salt and cayenne pepper.
- Put shrimp and vegetables in a large ziploc bags. (I keep them separate). Pour 1/2 the marinade in each. Refrigerate for a few hours.
- Place aluminum foil on the grill and pre-heat to a medium temp.
- Skewer the vegetables and shrimp. Again, I keep them separate and put the vegetables on the grill first.
- Grill vegetables for 5-10 minutes (all depends on how crisp you prefer your veggies)
- Add shrimp to the grill and cook for 3-5 minutes per side until they turn white on the inside and lose their transparency.
